$40k-$50k/yr plus tips

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Resturaunt manager for our locations. Duties include but are not limited to: 

  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints

  • Regularly review product quality

  • Organize and supervise shifts

  • Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity

  • Estimate future needs for goods and products

  • Pick up all goods, food and supplies weekly (as needed)

  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations

  • Manage restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it

  • Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste

  • Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events

  • Recommend ways to reach a broader audience (e.g. discounts and social media ads)

  • Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices

  • Implement policies, procedures and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations

  • Inventory products twice weekly and create a purchasing list

  • Hire hospitality-driven team members who reflect our brand; lead, train, and mentor them

  • Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations


Needed Skills

  • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role OR 2+ years of progressively responsible customer service experience in retail or restaurant environment

  • Proven customer service experience as a manager or training 

  • Outstanding motivational and leadership abilities

  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and staff

  • Familiarity with restaurant management software (Square, Excel, Word, Apps)

  • High respect for policies and procedures

  • Great communicator, ability to support staff effectively

  • Acute financial management skills

  • Desire to grow personally/professionally as well as build a successful establishment
